
A/C and Heater Instructions
1. Power On / Off

On the remote, press the ON/OFF button to power the indoor unit.
-
The display on the indoor unit (or wall-mounted monitor, if present) should light up.

To turn off, press ON/OFF again until the display goes dark.
2. Selecting Mode (Cool / Heat / Fan / Auto)
-
Press the MODE button.
-
Cycle through the options: Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto (depending on your model).
-
Stop on the mode you want; the remote and unit will show the selected mode.

Cool gives cooling.
-
Heat gives heating (if heat mode is supported).
-
Fan runs only the fan.
-
Dry reduces humidity.
-
Auto lets the unit pick the mode based on temperature.
3. Setting the Temperature

Use the â–² (Up) and â–¼ (Down) buttons on the remote to adjust the set temperature.

The selected temperature will appear on the remote display and often on the indoor unit.
-
Wait a moment — the unit will begin adjusting to match the new setting.
4. Adjusting Fan Speed

Press the FAN button.

Choose from the speeds available: Low, Medium, High, or Auto.

The indoor unit’s fan speed will change accordingly.
5. Adjusting Airflow Direction (Swing / Louvers)
-
Press the SWING or AIRFLOW button on the remote.
-
Louvers will start to move automatically (if your unit supports swing).
-
Press again to stop at a fixed angle.
-
Some remotes let you set horizontal and/or vertical louver angles separately.
6. Setting a Timer

Locate the TIMER button on the remote.

Press TIMER ON to schedule when the unit will turn on. Use the â–²/â–¼ buttons to set the time.

Press TIMER OFF to schedule when the unit will turn off. Set the preferred time similarly.

Confirm by pressing SET or pushing the timer button again (depending on your model).
8. Reset / Cancel Settings

To cancel a scheduled timer or mode, press the CANCEL button if available.

To reset the remote to default settings (rare feature), refer to the manual — often holds a RESET switch or a button combo.
9. Monitor Display / Unit Indicators

Check the indoor unit’s display for current mode, fan speed, temperature, and any error indicators.

If an error code appears (e.g., “E1”, “H3”), consult the unit’s user manual or technician guide.
